Holes are larger than pads |
See recommended
pad sizes for preset hole sizes.
|
| |
Holes in traces |
Holes mis-placed or placed without pads for connections.
|
| |
Missing holes |
Holes were not included in single NC drill file.
|
| |
Clearances too small for holes (shorting to ground) |
See recommended
inner layer clearance sizes for preset hole sizes.
|
| |
Inner layer exposed copper |
Required: draw .050 mil trace back set/keep-out areas for
processing. (See sample picture A.) This results in a
negative plot where our film will flood the empty area with copper.
The pads, backsets & keep out areas will be clear of copper.
(See sample picture B.)

Sizes of holes are not the size I expected |
24 preset finish drill sizes: .008, .014, .020, .025, .029, .033, .036, .040, .043, .046, .053, .061, .067, .080, .087, .093, .100, .110, .125, .141, .151, .167, .193, .251 (.008 available for 4-6 layers only).

Text or Silkscreen is missing |
Text or silkscreen is drawn with less than our minimum space & traces of .007 (7mil). Check your design for line width (not height; text should be at least .040 height). |
| |
1-Sided Board is Backwards |
The board layout should be viewed in Viewmate as looking through from top (component) layer side. There should be right reading copper text located somewhere on the single copper side (and silkscreen if applicable).
All boards are manufactured with through-hole plating; "bare side" will have copper pads.
